Climate Change and Education Consultancy — Child-Centered Advocacy & Communications
Provided consultancy services to strengthen national and sub-national coordination on climate change and education through child-centered advocacy and communications under the Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education (MoECHE), UNESCO, and GPE.
Impact Highlights:
- Developed a National Climate Change and Education Advocacy and Communications Strategy aligned with Somalia’s NAPs, NDC 3.0, and Climate Finance Roadmap, with SMART indicators for six target regions
- Facilitated multi-stakeholder dialogues at national and state levels, engaging education, environment, DRR, and civil society actors across five target regions to promote cross-sector coordination
- Produced a visual stakeholder coordination map and final consultancy report with recommendations for sustaining inclusive climate-education coordination beyond CSESI
Baseline Survey for Integrated Food Security, WASH, and Protection Project
Conducted baseline assessment for 8,500 households across Bakool Region to strengthen integrated food security, WASH, and protection services.
